The following Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Yatara Adventure and clients using our services in Bhutan. By booking a tour with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Booking and Payment
Booking Confirmation: Reservations are confirmed after receiving a completed booking form and a deposit.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the tour price is required to secure your reservation.
Final Payment: The balance must be paid before the tour begins, or the booking may be canceled.
Payment Methods: We accept credit cards, debit cards, online transactions, and cash.
Currency: Prices are quoted in BTN, USD, and INR.
Surcharge: We reserve the right to adjust prices due to currency fluctuations or government-imposed fees.
2. Permits and Visas
Bhutanese Visa: All foreign visitors (except Indian citizens) require a Bhutanese visa, which we will process upon full payment and submission of required documents.
Permits: We arrange all necessary permits, including trekking and entry permits.
Client Responsibilities: Clients must provide accurate information for visa processing; any delays due to incorrect details are their responsibility.
3. Tour Itinerary and Changes
The provided itinerary is a guideline and may change due to weather, road closures, or government regulations.
We reserve the right to modify or cancel tour schedules, accommodations, or transport due to unforeseen circumstances.
Client-requested changes may incur additional costs and are subject to availability.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Client Cancellations:
45+ days before tour: 20% cancellation fee
30-44 days before tour: 50% cancellation fee
Less than 15 days: 80% cancellation fee
No refunds after the tour has started.
Company Cancellations: In case of unforeseen circumstances, clients can either postpone their trip or receive a full refund.
Refunds will be processed within 15 business days.
5. Travel Insurance
All clients must have valid travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellations, and baggage loss.
Proof of insurance is required before the tour begins.
6. Health and Safety
Clients must disclose any medical conditions before booking.
Yatara Adventure is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or accidents during the tour.
7. Liability
We are not responsible for losses, damages, or delays due to natural disasters, political disruptions, or flight cancellations.
We work with third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, transport) and are not liable for their actions.
Clients are responsible for their belongings.
8. Disputes and Governing Law
Disputes will be resolved through amicable discussions.
The laws of Bhutan govern this agreement.
9. Photography and Marketing
Clients consent to Yatara Adventure using photos/videos taken during the tour for marketing unless stated otherwise in writing.
10. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Clients are encouraged to review updated terms on our website.
